どうやってここまで来られたのか分からないけど、巨大なエレベーターの墜落を生き延びたんだから、驚くことでもないのかもしれないね。
それと、君の頭を殴ってしまったことを改めて謝らせてほしい。
実はそのせいで、僕は君と直接顔を合わせるべきじゃないと思っているんだ。
どういうわけか僕は暴力的な本能に駆られてしまうことがあって、またそれに負けない自信がないんだ。
だから僕は自分を監視室に閉じ込めた。
そうすれば君に危害を加えることなく助けることができるからね。
今、僕たちがいるのは全てがおかしくなる前に活動していた最下層だ。
この下にはさらに多くの階層があるけど、長い間閉鎖されて放棄されたままなんだ。
だから落ちないように気をつけて…。
君の子供たちについてだけど、正確にどこに閉じ込められているのかは僕には分からない。
ただ、それを知っている人物を僕は知っているんだ。
水棲セクターへ向かってくれ。彼はそこにいる…。
ああそうだ、ケーブルカーを動かすにはキーカードが必要だったね。
だけど探すのは難しくないはずだ。
ほとんどの人がコピーを持っていて、駅から駅へ移動するのに使っていたからね。
フリン登場
導入場面：水生区画の大広間、通信端末
フリン：
お前が散々な一日を過ごしてきたことは分かる。
子供を連れてこの忌まわしい場所を去る瞬間を待ち望んでいることも、私には見えている。
だが、お前の努力を否定するつもりはないにせよ、その瞬間は永遠に訪れないかもしれないと私は考えている。
私はそれを許さない。
その理由を喜んで示してやろう。
ただし、その後は私の忠告に従え。
まだ間に合ううちにここを去れ。
この記憶を消し去り、何もなかったこととして進むんだ。
そうすれば約束しよう――明日は今よりもましな日になる、と。
内容：ビーチ
フリン：
私の家へようこそ。
いや、少なくとも本来はそうなるはずだった場所だ。
この施設の暗く冷たい深部では、状況が人間離れした行動を強いるものだ。
私が本来の道から外れすぎていると感じた時は、精神を立て直すためにお前が私を見つけたあの部屋で瞑想をする。
ここに来るたびに、私が戦っているものが、この苦痛と苦難に見合う価値のあるものだと再確認するんだ。
もちろん、これはすべて現実ではない。
だが、現実にすることはできる。
私の肌を本物の太陽の光が一度も照らしたことがない――想像できるか？
私はいつかそれが叶う日を切望している。
その目的を果たすために子供が必要だ。
だが心配はいらない、私は最も安全な手順を踏む。
大人たちをどう扱うかは私が決めるが、少なくとも一人は生かし、正気を保たせる。
そのおかげで生き残った子供たちは無事に地上へ送り届けられるだろう。
そしてもちろん、私自身も望む場所へ行くことができる。

……仕方ない、他所を当たるとしよう。
スローセリーヌ：
あなたはあの子たちの仲間じゃないのね…。
新しい人なのね…。
早く隠れて…。あの子たちが来るわ…。
ナブナリーナの実験
バンバン：
君に起きたことはスティンガー・フリンの仕業だ。
フリンは進歩セクターへ向かったが、今はもっと重要な問題がある。
ナブナブの部屋が開いているのが見えるだろう？つまり奴は中にいるということだ。
今は狩りの最中で、この状態では何もするのは危険すぎる。
奴に対処しなくてはならない。
幸い僕には解決策がある、ただし君は気に入らないだろうけどね。
医療セクターへ向かえ、そこで話そう。
ナブナブが逃げ出した時、作業員たちが次々に姿を消したのは時間の問題だった。
もちろん、予防策や訓練にも限界がある。
だから僕たちはより恒久的な解決策を考えねばならなかった。
その解決策がナブナリーナだ。
ナブナブがあれほど攻撃的なのは孤独のせいだという仮説を立てていたんだ。
だが手術の最中に崩壊が起き、この仮説を証明することはできなかった。
そこで君の出番だ。
君がその手術の最終段階を行うんだ。
ジバニウムに関わる処置は非常に繊細だから、僕の指示を細心の注意を払って聞いてくれ。
難しい部分はすでに終わっている。
君がやるのは正しい濃度を調合して、彼女に6回ほど注射するだけだ。
水滴のシンボルが付いた機械でそれを行う。
必要な時が来れば、画面に求められる濃度のシンボルが表示される。
分かりやすくするために、濃度は色で示してある。
正しい濃度を作り出し、それを注射器に入れてナブナリーナに与えてくれ。
色付きのパイプを持つ機械は誤った色に切り替わることがある。
そのときは渡したトングを使ってすべてを緑の状態に戻すんだ。
壁のボタンも時々故障する。
そのときはドローンで光っているボタンを押せ。
部屋にある余分なジバニウムは、装置が故障した時や濃度を届ける時に消耗していく。
四つのうち一つでも完全に枯渇すれば手順は中止となり、その後に起こることは決して良くない。
ジバニウムの処置を行えたのは一流の者だけだったが、今は選択肢がない。幸運を祈るよ。
そんなに難しくはなかっただろう？
とにかく、オーディオディスクを手に取って水棲セクターへ戻り、ラウンジの大きなスピーカーで再生してくれ。
さあ、クモのような結合の時だ。
ついに彼はもう惨めではなくなった。
二人が最初から地下のミュータントたちの一員じゃなかったのが不思議なくらいだ。
間違いなく馴染むはずだからね。これは……。
フリン再び
二度目の精神世界（バンバン3）
導入場面：ナブナブ統合失敗
フリン：
お前はここに長居しすぎたな。
私は取引を持ちかけてやったが、受け入れるのはとうに遅すぎたようだ。
安心しろ、今すぐにお前を処分したり、回収したりはしない。
私は無駄を嫌う性分でな。
古い友が私以上にお前を必要としている。
彼らもまた、心の安寧を得る道を歩んでいるのだから。
私にはすでに十分すぎるほどの被験体が揃っており、私の望み、そして究極の精神的完成へ進むにはそれで足りる。
お前は少し眠るといい。
その間に私は、お前を本来あるべき場所へ移してやろう…。
内容：砂漠をドライブ
バンバン：
やあ、やっと目を覚ましたね。
居眠りしても責められないよ、ここにずっといるみたいな気分だし。
でさ…スティンガー、いわゆる「ビーチ」って場所にはいつ着くんだ？
フリン：
私は、我々は道に迷っているように思える。
バンバン：
いいね。
たった一つの仕事を君がしくじるとはな。
フリン：
誰もお前の意見なんて求めていない
バンバン：
少なくとも音楽くらい流してくれないか？しばらくここにいることになりそうだし。
それだよ、それを待ってたんだ。
オピラ、これどう思う？
最高だね。
キャプテン、君はどうだい？
キャプテン？
まあ、悪くない答えだ。
フリン：
お前、少しの間だけ黙ってくれ。私が道路に集中する必要がある。
バンバン：
道路に集中だと？僕たちは何時間も同じ所をぐるぐる回ってるよ。
クラゲは信用ならないってもんだよね、そうだろ、オピラ？
フリン：
お前のみじめな口がもう一言でも私を苛立たせるなら、あの愚かなパーティーハットの一つにお前の全身をねじ込んでやる。
（サボテンに衝突して終わり）
ジャンボジョッシュの監視
バンバリーナ：
やっと目を覚ましたのね。
退屈で仕方なかったのよ、あそこにいる人は全然話さないし。
それに、ここはとても怖いの。
あの大きな緑のやつが、何度も私たちを見に来るのよ。
きっと私たちのことを人形か何かだと思っているのね。
それを逆手に取って逃げることができるかもしれない。
生きているって知られてはいけないの。
部屋の中で何かを動かしたり変えたりしたら、また奴が確認に来る前に元通りにしておきましょう。
そうすれば少しずつ脱出に近づけるわ。
奴には何も疑われない。
つまり、奴の目から見てこの部屋は変わらず同じでなければならないってこと。
奴が近づくとライトの色が変わるから、ライトが変わったら急いで椅子に戻るのよ。

なるほど…鳥に乗るとは新しいな、それは認めよう。
だが、お前をそこまで突き動かしているものは何だ？
まさか親としての保護本能などとは認めないぞ。
ああ、分かった。誰かがお前に偽りの希望を与えたのだ。
欲しいものを約束しながら、最初から別の目的だけを抱いていた。
バンバン：
――膵臓。
フリン：
最初、私は理解に苦しんだ。ここに来たこともないお前の行動が、なぜか完璧に運んでいることを。
だが、すぐに気づいた。
お前には導く者がいたのだと。
そして多くの場合と同じく、私の読みは正しかった。
お前にはやはり助けがあったのだ。

Glad to see you’ve made it! I don’t know how you did it, but then again you survived a giant elevator crash so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Also, again, I apologize for hitting you over the head. In fact, it is for this reason that I believe we should not meet face-to-face. You see, for whatever reason I am prone to violent instincts, and I do not trust myself to not give into them again. I have locked myself inside of a surveillance room. That way I can help without being a danger to you. We are currently on the lowest floor to remain active before everything went awry. That’s where he resides… It just hit me that you need the keycard to operate the cable car. Shouldn’t be too hard to find one. Welcome to my home. Or at least, what was supposed to be my home. Down in the dark and cold depths of the facility, the circumstances force you to do things that are out of your nature. When I feel that I am straying too far off my original course, I head to the room you have found me meditating in to mentally regroup. I come to this place, and then I’m reminded that what I’m fighting for is worth all of this pain and suffering. Of course, none of this is real, but it all could be. I have never had actual sun rays touch my skin, can you imagine that? And I yearn for the day that they finally do.
I need the children to achieve that, but do not worry, I will practice the safest of procedures. Whatever I decide to with the adults, I will make sure to keep one alive and sane so that the surviving children are delivered to the surface safe and sound. And of course, to deliver me to where I choose to be. Oh, to live the simple life of a completely brainless jellyfish; just munching on shrimp and avoiding getting eaten by turtles all day. You never appreciate how calming it is to have no conscience until you have one. I admire your courage, so I am giving you the chance to walk away. Take it. That way you won’t lose both your life and the chance to see your child.

What happened to you is one of Stinger Flynn’s tricks. He left for the progressive sector, but we have something more important to deal with right now. See Nabnab’s room? It’s open now which means he’s inside. He’s on the hunt and it’s too dangerous to do anything in this state. We have to deal with him. Luckily, I have a solution, but you won’t like it. Head to the Medical Sector and we’ll talk there. When Nabnab escaped, it wasn’t long before workers started to disappear.
Of course, precautions and training can only get you so far, so we had to think of a more permanent solution. Nabnaleena was that solution. We had a theory that Nabnab was as aggressive as he was due to his loneliness. We never got to prove this theory right, as the collapse happened during the surgery. That’s where you come in.
